Linux and satellite internet

Hi, all-

I have a couple of friends with zero computer experience, who live in a 
rural area, and want a PC with internet access. They do know enough to 
know that Windoz bloz, so they want a Linux box, and because they live 
far from cable access, they are interested in satellite internet. I 
browsed the web for info, but it looks like most of the satellite 
set-ups are not set up to work with Linux.

Do any of you have info on a satellite internet provider that is Linux 
friendly?
