Subject: Academic pricing for Free software?

While chatting at a security presentation today at ASU, the topic of
academic pricing, and how it is ultimately beneficial for the companies
in the long run, came up.

The idea of paying for mindshare isn't new, just ask Microsoft. Maybe
the free software community needs to reach out more the feartile minds
of the college set?

I think an attractive display combined with free copies of Debian
Gnu/Linux|*BSD, GNUWIN and the like with contact information for PLUG
and ASULUG would be very effective.

This might be an excellent project for AZOTO.

Does this sound viable to anybody else?
