How do you get ximian Evolution to work.

[bmike1@localhost bmike1]$ ls -l /dev/ttyS0
crw-rw---- 1 root uucp 4, 64 Apr 11 2002 /dev/ttyS0

is what my permissions say (which don't appear to be similar to your examples.
Are they saying the correct thing? How do I change it if not?

xwindows is being run as root? I wouldn't think so because when I am in su
mode it says:

[root@localhost bmike1]#

But if I am then I am. How do I log in as a user and run things as a user?

You say to run "killev"? But if I do that how am I supposed to sync my visor?

I hate being so needy!
