The only thing stopping me from running apt-get update as cron on my desktop
is, xfree86-common. On unstable, I have some X utilities that I use along
with my own latest compiled verstion of Xfree86. Had to learn the hard way
when apt installed over the top of my current X. haha, live and learn I
guess.
