Well, that's a longer question than you might think :)

There is a piece of software call WINE, which is a port of the W32 API
to Unix.  It will run many Windows programs.  I don't know about
quickbooks.  But, you call also buy a closed source version of WINE from
a company called Codeweavers, and they will guarantee that it will run
Office and Quicken (I realize that's not Quickbooks, but they should be
close) for $50 US.  You should probably try the free version first
though.

As far as Quickbooks for Linux, I don't know of an application that has
as much of the business focus as Quickbooks.  GnuCash has promised alot
of it in their next version, but I haven't seen any timeline on that
yet.

PS - For those who though that the whole software licenses thing was
fun, you should look at the Codeweavers/WINE relationship.  I think that
is the most complex licensing debacle in free software today.
