I know there are some e-smith users out there, maybe you have run into =
this situation and can help.=20

We only get intermtent connectivity from remote users into our server, =
recently upgraed from 4.1 to 5.5. This occured prior to the upgrade so =
it is not caused by the upgrade.

I can periodically come into the server via VPN (pptp) and SSH. Also =
sometimes I can view web pages on the server and sometimes not. Our ISP =
insists that they are not opening and closing ports.

I have noticed no set time pattern when the outages occur.

Regardless of whether or not I can enter remotley, I can always ping the =
server and the local users can always get out.

What a mystrey.

Charlie
