A+ Prep - was Potential PLUG Presentation?

Hi Der,

Well, no.  The A+ exams cover both hardware and software.  You must pass two
exams in order to earn certification.  One is hardware, which is just as you
mention below.  The second is the operating systems exam, which covers the
essentials required to set up and maintain a Windows system.  Though CompTIA
wants to claim that they're vendor-independent, the operating systems
portion of the A+ cert is arguably all Microsoft!
