Kernal Panic fix for Mandrake 8.2 Install

To those who were at the InstallFest:

     I went to the InstallFest to get help on my
problem with loading Mandrake 8.2.  People helped as
much as they could, but I came up with no solutions. 
I have a ProStar 5190S laptop which PREVIOUSLY had
Mandrake 7.2 on it.  Now, . . . I have Mandrake 8.2
loaded on it.  For those of you who MAY have a problem
loading Mandrake 8.2 on your computer/laptop and you
come up with a "Kernel Panic" error on install.  When
it comes to the Pre-Install screen.  Go to help and
type in linux(expert) and the amount of memory you
have.  Seemingly, Mandrake 8.2 had an issue with
recognizing the amount of RAM I had.  I had to specify
it.  After that, . . . it loaded PERFECTLY.  :-).  To
those that helped me, thanks.
