Hi,

I am trying to get the Lucent/agere orinoco 802.11 gold 11mbps card
working on my Linux box.
I need to be able to get that fixed so that i can get to use Airsnort with
WepCrack. I am currently using
Redhat 7.2 with a custom 2.4.18 kernel build, the system is a desktop with a
PCI bridge. I have
disabled the kernel pcmcia and am instead using the pcmcia 3.1.33 package. I
believe i have a
problem with the orinoco card drivers or its configuration. It gives the error
"Card Services release does
not match!" I believe the driver compilation went fine as it gives 2 beeps one
long and then a short one.
Could somebody who has already done this or knows how to fix this help me
out. Also please provide me
with info on the configuration files to get this card working.

Thanks in advance.
