okay, as far as i can tell samba is up and running ... here is my config file ... 

[global]
security = SHARE 
workgroup = Stuff
server string = MyBox
log file = /var/log/samba/log.%m
hosts allow = 192.168.1.204 127.0.0.1

[homes]
comment = Home Directory
read only = No
browseable = No
guest ok = No

[stuff]
comment = stuff
path = /stuff
browseable = yes
guest ok = yes

most of this stuff i dont know what it means i used a default config and havent had much tiem to read up on it, as of now, my windows box in vmware cant see the network, my goal is to have it read/write to the stuff directory which is just mp3's ... is there something wrong with my vonfig that would make the VM not able to see it?
