I've got to assume that this is in reference to this:

But that makes no sense. You have absolutely no idea
what documents I'm talking about. So how could you
possibly have sufficient context to justify insulting
me?

The documents I'm talking about are analysis of
economic trends in software that I send to a group of
investment bankers that went to school with my brother.
(that's why I said, "as an aside" - to indicate that
it was unrelated to PLUG business) They all have heard
of StarOffice, and OpenOffice, but do not have
sufficient motivation to install them. I've been
sending the docs in .xsl and .doc, and now I'm going
to start sending them in OpenOffice format.

If you don't know what a person is talking about,
and cannot understand why he or she would say such
a thing, can I recommend discussing it with that
person in private first, before casting aspersions
in public?
