Perl question

I know this is late in the response.  However, I do really appreciate all 
the responses and assistance we received on this thread.

We have corrected the problem and we are moving forward with the solution 
which solved many issues.

Thanks to everyone that sent information our way.  It has opened the door 
to other things we may try in the future was well.
