That's not quite right on my read from der.hans:

 | m$ gets less than 5% of the total IT budget. 50% of that budget is for
 | labor, e.g. salaries.

So it seems that M$ catches less than 2.5M$/yr.  That, unfortunately,
also describes what I net in my job.  :-)

Remind me someday to become a a CEO someplace, reap millions by
milking the company/investors and then retire quietly to an island
with a T3 link.
