DHCPCD Problems with Cox's new network

as far as i was aware Cox was'nt tieing down the MAC address ..
they were just setting the HOST Name / Identitie ( Win32 )
and using that.
If they have changed their policy now then its gunna hit everyone .. knowing
how tieing the MAC causes alot of problems with changing the Nic ...
