Way OT: MSCE books?

I am a heritic for asking this here but, this is the best source I know of for IT information.  I appreciate it, really I do.

A friend of mine (Not me. Really!) wants to finish studying for an MSCE cert.  He has very little money.  He wants to borrow (get for free?) books on MSCE knowledge and preparation.

Who knows, maybe a PLUGer has some such books that are gathering dust because he/she now uses a better OS.  I would vouch for the loan of the books since I know my friend will treat them like gold.  Anyone that can help is invited to reply off the list.
