SSL
You can either get a cert from one of the many authorities (Verisign, etc),
or you can just create your own using openssl. Let us know which. Making
your own is a breeze and I believe apache-ssl has a pretty good doc out there
on it.
Mail
I'm not a big fan of sendmail; I'm certain most of the group will
steer you towards Postfix or Qmail. Personally, I am a Qmail fan.
Again, commit to one of them, and we can certainly guide you thru
getting it operational.

I am now calling for help.
I am current developing a new website and backend for the company I
work at and will be rolling out soon. The server is a nice new dual
xeon Dell server running Red hat 7.2. The server is setup for apache
and mysql but I need some serious help getting SSL and any email server
setup (sendmail, postfix, qmail). I am trying to learn sendmail write
now but have not made much headway in the book I have, do to time
restraints of a busy life.
I am hoping someone is willing to help me out. I am open to all types
of help whether it is free help or if some sort of I compen$ation is
needed.
Please email me at webmaster at ucwebdesigns.com
