<P>Agreed.........got my G4 PowerBook w/ 60 GB HDD and 1 GB RAM two days ago and have yet to put it down.&nbsp; Also got a brand new Dell Inspiron 8200 with the same config. only running WIN XP.&nbsp;&nbsp; I have yet to do anything meaningful with it.&nbsp;&nbsp; Maybe AFTER I get tired of the Mac................NOT !!&nbsp;&nbsp; Would be nice to have a "Virtual PC" setup for Linux similar to the one I got for WIN XP for the Mac though.&nbsp; Funny...............the Win XP virtual PC app in the Mac runs faster than the XP which cam loaded on the Dell with a P4m&nbsp;/ 2 GHz /1GB RAM........kinda makes you wonder.</P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt; intend to. However that goes for any product that your just plain not
<DIV></DIV>&gt; going to use, why fork out 100-200 $ for something your just going to
<DIV></DIV>&gt; format off the system?

<DIV></DIV>I just thought I would insert my $.02 about this. If it is really an issue,
<DIV></DIV>then purchase the laptop from PC Club. They seem to be great items, and I
<DIV></DIV>got a $120 (or thereabouts) discount when I priced the system out. They
<DIV></DIV>really seemed like decent systems.

<DIV></DIV>In the end, however, I went with the Apple Powerbook. Although I have not
<DIV></DIV>attempted to install Linux yet, I must say that I have been quite pleased
<DIV></DIV>with Mac OS X.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>The only issue I currently have is that the included emacs doesn't include
<DIV></DIV>font-lock-mode (syntax coloring), and I cannot get fink's terminal version to
<DIV></DIV>work. Other than that, I have been extremely pleased with both the
<DIV></DIV>productivity and the entertainment side of things. Plus, I am a big fan of
<DIV></DIV>eye candy. :-P
