Kevin,
It sounds like you got DSL on the line you call line 2 before you got the
service on line 1. Your likely problem is that Qwest and all other DSL
providers use DMT instead of CAP now on the DSL lines. The 675 does not
support DMT, the 678 is the external modem of choice in that arena.

I have two (Cisco 675), one that I use on line 2 for all the systems on the
network and one that, while it trains up on line 2, will not train up on
line 1
(the line the Internal modem hooks to), just blinks 6 or 7 times, then
pauses
and does it again.
