Problems upgrading to KDE3

Ya know, I've been futzing with getting KDE 3.0 binaries installed on
several distros and it's been a huge pain in the arse.  Even when I have
gotten it installed, it's been flaky.  My strong recommendation is to
either build it from source, or just wait a couple more weeks for
whichever distro includes it.
