George,
I am also a user of Qwest Choice On-Line VDSL and cable service in Anthem.
Cox will be available (at least for TV service) on the 22nd or 24th in
Anthem. I have to check with my wife (works for COX) and see if cable modem
service will also be available at that time. The only problems I have had
with my service is that quite often when someone is working at the main box
in the park, my service will drop for a quick minute.

Qwest [only] Choice On-Line VDSL in Anthem. This is the ONLY DSL
service available here. Big black HOS box that sits on top of the
TV the size of a small computer, which has been replaced three
times in the last 11 months. Yeah, VDSL.
I can use any mail server also - that's port 110. They won't
allow you to run a mail server - port 25 - or a web server.
My first clue about the port blocking was during the Code Red
discussions we were having last summer - I didn't get a single hit.
Someone on the list port scanned me and I looked in the logs - no
port 80 at all. Last November, I asked qwest.net tech support and
they confirmed that port 25 and 80 were blocked.
