Kmail and Cox.net

If you need to authenticate to the servers, you will not be able to do it
with any kmail other than the most recent one.  Last I knew though, Cox did
not require authentication.

  I am running Mandrake 8.1 and non-upgraded kmail. I have recently got Cox
cable modem service and cannot get kmail to authenticate with the cox
servers. Anyone had this issue or know how to fix it?
