Serious cabling problem

Kimi,

So are you trying to run ethernet between these
buildings?  You'll likely be out of spec if you are
(distance limitations).  If you have a decent cable
path between these buildings, it might be worth your
while to look at having someone run fiber.  Anyone
done this recently?  I have no idea what price range
that will be in these days.  Last time I was involved
was 1996 with GTE? and Texas A&M.  If you run fiber,
you can go straight into a switch or router and still
be well within distance specifications.
