Novell Netware

Since NetWare is being taken out of the picture altogether, there are a
couple things you can do ( at least a couple...)
First, you may want to uninstall the NetWare client from the workstations
since you don't need it anymore.
If you want to set up file and print services on the Linux box, I'd use
Samba. You'll have to set up accounts on the Linux box to correspond to the
Windows accounts. Of course, if all the clients are 9x (or at least
non-NT/2000) you can skip this part cuz' no Windows authentication is needed
to access the workstation. Therefore, file and print services could be
provided using a generic "guest" account which would be transparent to the
user. BTW, Samba can be set up to emulate an NT/2000 domain controller for
authenticating accts-see the HOWTO.
Or you can install an NFS client on the workstations, and set up the Linux
box with NIS for account authentication. In this arrangement, you can still
use Samba for file & print or set up the Linux box as an NFS server.
Hope this helps...
