Problem with suse 7.2

Ya'll might not realize it, but Robert here is from one of the local
highschools IIRC, and he has spent a considerable effort trying to get
his machine up.  I would like to see the group generally encourage him
in his efforts...

My best guess as to the problems he is having surrounds some hardware
problem.  He is getting all of his wierdness from a clean install with
no fancy frills.  His box is new enough that he should not be having any
deprecated non-support behaviour, but who knows.  Who all is in his area
and could help him out with it.  I could probably break away a half a
day or so during the next few days, but I am in the middle of midterms
and on the borderline of freakout...  Who else would have a little time
to help too?
