if they do vnc what is powerful is multi headed vnc.  where you set up vnc
on a linux box and several people can connect to it at same time with
different sessions.  This is nice so that windows users can have a 'linux'
box to use, w/o you having to setup up a bunch of machines or do a lot of
dual booting.
