pixmap error

since i dont like gnome cause its bloaty i have no idea whats going on ..
you prolly installed X and your Windows manager from RPM so again could be a
number of things.

for a less weighty X Windows install i usually compile from source and use
XFCE Xwindows manager and i use the Imlib library instead of the Gnome set
of tools/libs

aslo i throw in SDL and Mixer .. latest GTK / GDK libs again all compiled
from source

 i dont have any problems with that.
