Check to make sure your /dev/cdrom link isn't broken. If it isn't, try a 'dd
if=3D/dev/cdrom of=3Dpointless.dat count=3D500' to see if you can read from=
 the
cdrom device. If not, you need to check your dmesg to see if the cd drive is
being found. Also, you might want to change that 'mnt/cdrom' field to read
'/mnt/cdrom', unless you are using a relative directory name on purpose... =
