Trouble sending email

I just did this with smtp.earthlink.net and it works like a champ....

I tried the above with mail.mindspring.net using borgking's address and
mine as RCPT TO: and 
fairly promptly received :

Everything seems ok with both servers. I use earthlink-dialup
through a firewall and smpt.earthlink.net is my usual outgoing
mail server (this message included) ......
