Adaptec SCSI Card 2906, UMAX Astra 1220s, sane

If I'm reading the site correctly using the -d switch means you are going to
point it to the device (-d, --device-name=DEVICE).  Try using the -L switch and
see what it lists.  Also check and see if you have /dev/scanner and if so what
it is pointed at.
