netscape and sound

anybody know how to turn off sound with netscape? I'd like something
similar to the ability to not download images (seems that this actually
might do sound as well due to the "and other data types"). I still want
images or I'd be using lynx :), but I'm tired of it locking up because it
doesn't have access to the soundcard. In fact, I usually don't want it to
have access to play sounds.
