Dual Monitor setup didn't

Try changing your ServerLayout section to looks something like:

Section "ServerLayout"
 Identifier "HOWTO XFree86 Configured"
 Screen "Screen0"
 Screen "Screen1" RightOf "Screen0"
 InputDevice    "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
 InputDevice    "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
