keeping files in order while burning to cd

I want to run a command as simple as cdrecord -v dev=0,6,0 speed=4 -audio 
*.wav, without having to specify the name of each individual file name just 
to keep the tracks in order by time.  Will the *.wav "input" files sorted by 
time, or do I have to write a script, or what else can I do to make this 
easier (without using GUI's please)?
