Look at doing it with php. Rasmus said at his talk here a couple of weeks
ago that they have a library for that :). He mentioned what the embedded
info in the images is called, but I don't remember what it is. If you have
that term, you might be able to better search for info on it. I'd think
there's be a perl library to handle it. If not and you have the specs for
the standard you could grep out the info you want by hand.
