Redhat 7.1 port access

Hi,
 I have recently upgraded to RedHat 7.1 from 7.0.  I
used to use Sybase database server on this machine. 
It now does not work for outside access.  I did not
install the firewall.  Is there any thing that I need
to enable on the machine to get access to the Sybase
listener port from another machine?
