I saw a ad for a Networking device for your phone line, in CompUSA's =
newspaper ad. It's made from LinkSys. I'm a little worried about =
this, theres no hub involved, all data is transfered via your phone =
line. It _CANT_ be that fast. It just seems too good to be true. The =
device is $60/per computer. =20

It can hold up to 25 computers (the box says)

Has anyone experienced this kind of networking? Is it any good? I'm =
thinking about trying it, and then getting cox for the internet.=20

My only other question is, does it need to be a "live" telephone? We =
have 2 lines right now, but if we get cox, we'll get rid of the second =
line. Does it actually need the phone line, or does it need the phone =
wire?

Thanks,=20
