Hooking up my box to the web

Go into httpd.conf and look for "Port 80" change that to "Port 81" (both
without quotes) and restart apache. Congrats you are now listening for requests
on port 81. Only problem, for others to go to your site they will have to
explicitly tell their browser to go to http://<host>:81/ instead of just
http://<host>/. Depending on what your site is for that might not be bad, but
if it is a general site for public consumption then you won't get much in the
way of traffic because most people will just type in the url and not tell the
browser what port to go to. So, the browser will default to contacting port 80
and not get a response.
