SuSE 7.3 and Logitech mouse

I am using SuSE 7.3 on my system with a Logitech
Optical wheel mouse. The pointer works fine but
the scrolling with the wheel does nothing. I have
read the info on the internet but to no avail.
The following is the Pointer Section from
/ect/XF86Config which I have modified:

Section "Pointer"
  Protocol      "imps/2"
  Protocol      "intellimouse"
  Device        "/dev/psaux"
  ZAxisMapping  "4 5"

What more do I have to do to make use of the scroll
freature of the mouse?
