127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.1 carthage.the-arcanum.org carthage
192.168.1.12 soulblighter.the-arcanum.org soulblighter
192.168.1.13 deadsoul.the-arcanum.org deadsoul
192.168.1.15 byzantium.the-arcanum.org byzantium
4.22.48.30 speedfam.com speedfam
but as I don't actually know what the resolving name of 4.22.48.30 is I
just put speedfam in there as the name of the company. Maybe that's
screwing something up as well. But with that in there it makes no
difference.
I dialed up once from the outside and tried to ftp into my box, and that
took a little while too, but I thought it was because I was dialed up,
maybe I need to do more research, it could be my firewall. But i don't
think so, because even dialed up, it still only took about 4 seconds
after 'connected to ftp.the-arcanum.org' whereas at work it can
sometimes take up to 30 seconds.

That might be an idea. I'd rather not resort to that right away though.
