No konqueror

when you make serious changes to the install base you often need to
resync the cached files in the bin directories, etc with a "rehash".  I
do not know if this is strictly necessary now adays, but in the past it
was a must.  Also, when the machine first boots up the cache is clean
and it is rebuilt on the fly...
