Education / Experience:

- High School Diploma
- 1-2 Years of Network Troubleshooting Experience
- CCNA & Linux
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Technical Help Desk Experience a plus


Skills required:

- Knowledge in the following areas:
  * Linux!!!!
  * Help Desk Operations / Customer Service
  * High Performance Networking
  * TCP/IP, Cisco Routing, BGP
  * Possess a professional demeanor with excellent written and oral
    communication skills
  * Demonstrate excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to have fun!
- Abilty to consume pizza and large quantities of Mountain Dew

General Summary:

As a Tier I Network Operations Center Technician, you will be
responsible for timely and accurate reporting and troubleshooting of
network outages for both internal and external systems. It will be your
primary duty to monitor all network nodes and devices and ensure that the
highest quality support is provided in the event of an outage. 

In the event of a network outage you will follow through with the basic
troubleshooting procedures that will be provided. In this position a major
part of your time will be spent answering customer calls, troubleshooting,
and maintaining the call ticket information database. This position is an
entry-level position and provides for professional development and growth
into other departments within the company.
