Contracting companies

When I was a contractor a couple years ago, I went through a company called
PDS (www.pdsinc.com). I liked working for them, and would recommend them.
They seemed to care more about their workers than other contract companies.
A couple friends who also worked for them, and had worked for other
companies previously, said that PDS was better than any other company they
had gone through. They offered health benefits, paid time off, etc. They
also paid more than other companies. The office manager would occasionally
take all of the contractors at the company I was assigned to out to lunch,
and she even paid for happy hour drinks for everyone when I left to take a
permanent position at the company I was assigned to. Okay, so I'm a sucker
for free beer. :) Of course, this was in '99 when the economy was a bit
different than it is now, so I'm not sure if they're still as good.
