ftp help!!

Are you running through a firewall?

FTP is funny - it wants to make a connection BACK for the data path,
instead of all connections originating from your side.  Firewalls
have a small problem with that ;-)

Check to see if passive mode is on (I think thats what its for), and
also see if you have the firewall set up to allow ftp through (what,
ftp proxy?  I think thats it)
