Mandrake 8.0 and Logitech IFeel USB optical mouse

Mandrake refuses to recognize the Logitech IFeel USB Optical mouse. 
Win98 and SuSE 7.1  have no trouble recognizing this mouse.

The following is the pointer section of /etc/X11/XF86Config file:

Section "Pointer"
     Protocol	"imPS/2"
     Device	"dev/mouse"
     Buttons	3
     ZAxisMapping 4 5

#ChordMiddle is an option for some 3-button Loditech mice
