I found the following assistive when I recently spec'd out a cdrw:
http://www.cdmediaworld.com/ There's a buying guide on there on what
to buy (and criteria for selection).  I cross referenced that with the
linux hardware database project http://lhd.datapower.com/, picked my
price range (http://www.pricewatch.com for reality testing prices),
and ordered appropriately.

Other than that, most any standard atapi cdrw should work at this
point.
