OpenBSD with X continued

Sounds like you need to configure your X properly.  Make sure
you run either XFree86 -config or XF86Setup, or if you're really
gungho you can edit the XF86Config file in /etc/X11 (IIRC). Make
sure you setup a comfortable resolution.  Then setup your .xinitrc
file to run your favorite window manager.  Also take a gander at
OpenBSD's FAQ.
