I am in and out of Linux due to frustration of not getting theings the way I
want them
I am about to exodus to Linux due to M$ Windows tightening freedom. Frankly
Im pissed. The only thing I need in linux now is for all my games to emualte
or somehow port over in the future. (i.e Everquest, Civilization 3, Warcraft
3, Alpha Centauri we all love me..)
Mandrake 8 is very easy to setup for its beta 3 form. My D-Ling Ethernet
card does not work compared to Mandrake 7.2. Ati Radeon is finally
supported. I am a happy camper. I LUVVV my Linux now. Mandrake was easier to
set up then win ME,2000 or any other OS i have worked with
Slackware is a pain and Redhat is easy but lacks sometings (Redhat
overrated)Its all the same though with Kernel and all. Im speaking on
packagewise. If you are new to Linux I would recommend Mandrake.
Just my too sends. Linux or bust
PS that sucks M$ Xm wont support mp3's people are robbed if you ask me. But
whay would they do that. There is to much money for them in the lung run for
Mp'3 they might go out like apple will. (Arrogance and grip will get em)
Mandrake should get advertized heavily in this act)
