No vendor exhibits?  I think, and have been checking to see if we can get 
two 5,000 sq ft rooms - one for conferences, one for exhibits

According to Rebecca Sobel at LWN there is and embedded conference in 
Boston Sept 4-7 and an O'Reilly P2P conference in DC Sept 17-20.  Those 
are the only competition that I was aware of

Agreed.  I will make sure the issue is brought up on Thu and see who else 
is willing to volunteer.
