PHP and the web

The 1st edition isn't all that bad if you are just looking for a quick
reference and have some experience.  It does a decen't job at that.
    Also if you are looking for a book with a lot of typos^h^h^h^h^hpuzzles
then the 1st edition is also a good book :)

I can't believe some of the really bad typos that got past editing to the
printers in that book. Stuff that you can see while just flipping pages at
full speed.

I can't remember the name of the book, but der.hans girfer has a PHP book
that is missing very very commonly used functions.  For instance, there is
no mention of include, or require in her book.  I don't know how they are
expecting you to write and usefull code at all after reading that book.
Hopefully der.hans will pipe in with the name of that book to avoid giveing
the author any business.
