NewMonics, Inc., a startup company providing real-time and embedded Java
(tm) Virtual Machine technologies, is looking for a full time Unix System
Administrator for our Tucson office.  Duties include maintaining Linux based
servers, and tending to services running on them, such as cvs, samba, inn,
qmail, RAID, apache, postgres, and some perl based cgi-bin intranet scripts;
troubleshooting of NT clients accessing said services, network
administration of VPN to two other locations, and corresponding firewalls.
Experience with server capacity planning tuning, and the ability to
transcend space and time
are plusses. Candidates with MSCE certification will be considered, but only
if they have the good sense not to mention it on a resume or in an
interview.
