\_ JLF: Seriously, having an UPS is a must for production environments

Skip the production environment, I recommend them to every box.  When
I bought my UPS 6 (!) years ago for my home box some thought I was
crazy.  I sure am.  I bought that report that Arizona's power quality
is 49/50 in the US hook line and sinker...and have watched my box live
through several outages.

Is it better to get "extended warranty" from Best Buy or a UPS from
them?  I know which one would protect my computer more....

BTW, #50 is/was Alaska.  Go figure.
